There are four set times of prayer designated in the Word of God, and the first is early morning when the sun first comes over the horizon.

Those who pray in the morning sunrise should face East toward Jerusalem. Choose any devotional position. On your face before God. On your knees. Standing. Kneeling. Sitting is not a devotional position.

Begin by entering the Lord's gates as much as it is possible for you by praise. Once you feel like you are in the best Spirit possible for your prayers, begin to pray:

To give you an idea of how to unselfishly pray the perfect will of God, you would do well to "PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM." To do this intelligently, it would be wise for you to know the names of the rulers of Israel and their present needs. Pray for mercy and grace and wisdom for them and Israel throughout the world.

It is also wise to pray as holy Scripture also says, for your ruler (whether you like him or not, for we are advised to never speak against him knowing God has put him in power.)

Then of course it is important to "PRAY THE LORD OF THE HARVEST TO SEND LABORERS INTO THE HARVEST FIELDS." America desperately needs preaching, praising and praying in the Spirit.

To continue praying unselfishly, "PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DESPITEFULLY USE YOU," that the LORD God might not remember their sins. This is the same way the martyrs pray. "FATHER FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO."

If your prayers are running out of Spirit, praise the LORD some more until you feel charged up again and continue praying while facing East as the sun rises.

Now you might pray for your well being a little without getting into the lusts of your flesh. For those things you would "CONSUME UPON THE LUSTS OF YOUR FLESH," the LORD will not grant.

Pray the Scriptural prayer: "LORD FEED ME WITH FOOD CONVENIENT FOR ME," that you might remind yourself that even your diet belongs to your Creator. "YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN, YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE."

If you are severely afflicted, you might pray: "LORD REMOVE YOUR STROKES FAR FROM ME, FOR BY THEM I AM CONSUMED."

In these Scriptural prayers is built in the "COMMAND YE THE LORD" we hear of in the Scriptures. The command power is only good when it is in agreement with God himself, and God will not give you anything you want that you might "CONSUME IT UPON YOUR LUSTS."

Pray for your kin. For your friends and neighbors. For your fellow employees. All by name and need.

And be sure to pray for their physical well being. "PRAY YE ONE FOR ANOTHER THAT YOU MIGHT BE HEALED." Your healing may depend upon your concern for others.

Then be sure to pray for your specific needs and for wisdom and mercy in all things. Sign your prayers in the name of Christ, the Son of God by whom "ALL THINGS WERE MADE. FOR WITHOUT HIM NOTHING WAS MADE." In some way showing God you recognize the deity of Christ.

Close out your prayers with your thankfulness for all the good things God has done and you have started your day off well if you have found a place to sing and pray in secret that the LORD might reward you openly.

Psalm 143:8 "Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness IN THE MORNING:"

Psalm 92:1/2 "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto your name, O most High: To show forth your lovingkindness IN THE MORNING, and your faithfulness every night."

Psalm 5:l/3 "Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto you will I pray. My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; IN THE MORNING WILL I DIRECT MY PRAYER UNTO YOU, and will look up."

Proverbs 8:17 "Those who seek me early shall find me."
