"HE WHO WOULD BE RICH SHALL BE PIERCED THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS."

Christians are being led by their religious leaders and their own lusts for the things of this world in the wrong direction toward the happiness they might have hoped to experience in the joy of the Lord where the peace of God reigns in the heart of the more devout.

We are told in the sacred Scriptures "the love of money is the root of all evil," but the text goes over the heads of many, so here is the paraphrase of it: "the love of money is the hidden motive at the root of all evil beneath the ground that many do not perceive."

In the above video is an interesting and personable woman who skillfully built her own miniature mobile house. She is what might be classified an Ascetic although normally they are thought to be some mystic living in a cave somewhere in the wild separated from mankind. She obviously has an appreciation for downsizing the entanglements of this world in her life so she can enjoy reading and other leisures while preserving her income for other more important things.

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10) Those who have swallowed the lie of the Prosperity Preachers in America have "erred from the faith." They have mistakenly put their faith in financial success even as the wolves flying around in multi-million dollar jets have erred in saying their prosperity is from God.

There was a preacher of the truth who stood outside of a major Convention Center where one of the big name Prosperity Preachers was coming and he asked people in the river of people going in excitedly if they were here to claim the promises! "Oh yes," they all cried out with one heart. Then the preacher of truth asked them, "Have you met the conditions of the promises?" And those people going in to hear the lies of a false prophet were confounded.

"What conditions?" they wanted to know with confusion on their faces.

The preacher of truth told them. "You have to deny yourself and take up the cross of a living sacrifice and follow after the Spirit of Jesus to store up riches in heaven. He is the gold tried in the fire you must purchase by overcoming sufferings and persecutions brought on in full service unto the Lord."

Let those who have ears to hear, hear these words from Saint Luke's writings in Chapter 16, Verse 11.

"If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous material things, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" Jesus (St. Luke 16:11)
