The anointed Saint John wrote: "We know we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:19/20)

      God hates wickedness. (Psalm 45:7)

God is angry with the wicked every day. (Psalm 7:11) He is "A CONSUMING FIRE." (Hebrews 12:29) God consumes wicked spirits in hell along with all other sinners with the fires of his anger.

Be careful if you happen to see the wicked brought low. God does not like it when someone rejoices while he brings transgressors low. He is not doing it to entertain us.

Now just what does it mean for someone to be wicked? There are sinners going to hell, and wicked sinners are going to hell. How does the Bible define the wicked? Let's find out:

The wicked lay snares to ambush the unsuspecting. Psalm 119:110, 141:10, Proverbs 12:6, 12,

The wicked works a deceitful work. Proverbs 11:18

Violence is in the mouth of the wicked. Proverbs 10:6

The wicked hardens his face. Proverbs 21:29

The wicked shall fall into mischief. Proverbs 24:16 (Bill Clinton and the Lewinski scandal. Nixon and Watergate.)

The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked." Isaiah 57:20/21

"The filthy conversation of the wicked" 2 Peter 2:7

The wicked like to lift up their voice shouting for their cause. Psalm 75:4

"Taking the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked" who are insensitive to your feelings and do not mind being offensive. Ephesians 6:16

"A wicked man is loathsome and comes to shame." Proverbs 13:5 (Yassar Arafat, one of the most loathsome men in modern history).

"The righteous considers the cause of the poor: but the wicked regards not to know it." Proverbs 29:7

"The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor: let them be taken in the devices they have imagined." Psalm 10:2

"For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, whom the LORD abhors." Psalm 10:3

"The ways of the wicked "are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them." Psalm 10:5

"He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity." Psalm 10:6

"His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity." Psalm 10:7

"He sits in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places does he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor." Psalm 10:8

"He lies in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to catch the poor: he does catch the poor, when he draws him into his net." Psalm 10:9

"He crouches, and humbles himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones." Psalm 10:10

"He hath said in his heart, God has forgotten: he hides his face; he will never see it." Psalm 10:11

"He that hates dissembles with his lips, and lays up deceit within him; When he speaks fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart." Proverbs 26:24/25

The anointed Prophet, King David asked God,

"Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all they happy that deal very treacherously? You have planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: you are near in their mouth, and far from their reins." Jeremiah 12:1/2

What appears to be an inquiry is actually a very deep teaching on the part of the Prophet David. First of all, he credits the LORD God for planting the wicked. Men like Genghis Khan and Adolph Hitler were planted by Almighty God and if you look around you carefully in this present world, you may be able to see the LORD making ready to bring forth that wicked AntiChrist forecast in the prophesies.

Secondly David informed us of a mystery.

"God is nigh in the mouth of the wicked" the anointed king of Israel tells us. The wise put their hand over their mouth when they discern a wicked person, so they might not stir them to become a wicked mouthpiece for God Almighty to express any wrath stored up with Him.

In my years as a wayfaring man while walking along the side of the king's highway (Isaiah 35:8) my mind would sometimes wander, and because the public knew what I was doing out there; a voice would sometimes cry out from someone hating me and the message was always right on the mark, as to what was wrong with my thoughts.

I immediately knew the LORD was correcting me even though the wicked doer thought they had just put me down, the LORD was straightening out my thinking and in a good and healthy fear of God my focus returned to the things of God necessary to stay in the anointing where He could empower me to do His Work.

Having no place to lay my head as a servant of God meant walking past some very undesireable wicked persons at times to enter into a business of some kind, and the natural tendency is to attempt to make friends with them; even though by all appearances I knew the wicked when my eyes saw them. And this is where you do not want to invite them to speak to you for God is near in the mouth of the wicked and He may be holding back his wrath from you; and this being the case - you do not want to stir Him up by encouraging the wicked to start on you, because that is what they will do.

In the above list of attributes regarding the wicked, their mouths are covered with violence and filthiness.
