Jeremiah the Prophet quoted God as saying: "But let him that glories, glory in this THAT HE UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS ME, that I am the LORD who exercises loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:24) God can be known. Believers can taste of the LORD and know he is good. We can understand him to the extent he reveals his purposes to us. We can see him working in circumstances as we grow up into his Light. There are even a few of the more devout who walk in his Spirit and know his ways which are not man's ways.

The beginning of knowing God is true repentance from having lived sinful lives in spiritual darkness. Upon receiving the baptism of the holy Ghost, the elect come into the Light of God revelation by revelation to where they understand and know God better as they become more and more sanctified by the truth that God is.

God is infinite and we are finite. We cannot contain all of the knowledge God possesses nor can we ever learn all he understands infinitely. What we can learn as children of God growing into the stature of Sons of God is how to live according to his perfect will in his Spirit.

The path to knowing God is through obedience to him as he reveals himself through the Spirit of his holy Word to those who seek him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength continually.

This is a small collection of letters written by children five years of age along with comments of interest for you to consider since we are to become like little children if we are to enter into the kingdom of God:

In the first note from Jane to God we discover a little child has a rationale mind. She obviously knows death exists. She knows babies are made by God to replace people dying off. She has faith. She believes God could change things if He was of a mind to, so she asks Him:

The next little child wants to know right from wrong, and what he saw seemed strange to him in Church.

This next child is apparently exposed to Bible readings and here is her take on it.

Nan did the math and the result of her mental calculation is astounding.

Elliot is developing a God consciousness.

Robert is struggling with the meaning of the word American and thinks God might be able to help him get a handle on it.

Larry thinks God could use a little timely advice from him.

Mickey has a new pair of shoes he can't wait to show off to God in Church.

Denise isn't sure what we will be like when the Lord brings us back to the earth, but she knows who she doesn't want to be like.

Chris has a small favor he would like God to do for him.

      Raphael's a deal maker.

Donna figured out all by herself that someone stole God's idea for making light.

Jonathan wants God to know He's doing a great job.

Peter just has a small request for God to do for him.
