Your ability to recognize The Deity of Christ depends upon your faith in the Word of God in the Bible He has given mankind through holy men. To them is entrusted the oracles of God.

Jesus Christ came as God in the flesh of a man.

The divine man said in the holiness of the Spirit, "IF YOU HAVE SEEN ME, YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER."

He meant for his disciples to see him with spiritual eyes.

The eternal Father was in him.

Israel greatly erred in not seeing Jesus with spiritual eyes, demoting the Greatest Sage of Israel to a tourist attraction in the holy land until he returns in glory from God.

The Prophet, Job wrote of the Lord in his holy book saying:

"I know my redeemer lives, and he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." Job 19:25/27

Jews have been entrusted with the writings of the Word of God we find in the holy Bible, but Jews have a tradition of believing worshiping Jesus Christ is idolatry.

Many of them are closed minded to what their own brethren the holy Apostles have to say about the Lord.

Saint Peter tells us Christ is "a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed." 1 Peter 2:8 This is a strange development for those of us who already know Jesus Christ is the second person of the godhead.

Israel was taught they served one God. Though Israel was visited by the angel of the LORD on quite a few occasions in the form of a man, they were backslidden by the time Jesus Christ came working miracles; and were divided nationally as to his identity. They were looking for one like Moses to come as a deliverer which is the second coming of Christ, but as to his first coming; they are in denial as a nation.

The peer pressure among Jewish people is so severe, they fear to read the New Testament lest they find it to be true; knowing their fellow Jews are hostile to the recognizing of Jesus Christ as Saviour.

Yet the Lord fulfilled many Old Testament prophesies which rebellious Rabbi's oppose without really having searched the New Testament diligently to know the truth. Such a wall of opposition has been built up among Israeli's that only a few recognize Jesus as the second Person of the godhead.

We love the Jewish people. They are the offspring of our teachers in the New and the Old Testament. We know and comprehend our God is one God differently they do for the present, but Jesus Christ will cure them of their rebellion when he comes in the glory of God to set up his global kingdom for a thousand years.

Speaking as though it were already done, an Old Testament Prophet wrote:

"The mighty God, even the LORD, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined. Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is Judge himself. Selah. Psalms 50:1/6

The Jewish people do not see Jesus Christ coming as God in the above verse. After all, his name is not there, is it? "IT IS TO THE GLORY OF GOD TO CONCEAL A MATTER."

Christians have a similiar problem of unbelief if they are not studied in the Scriptures. Many a Christian does not know Jesus Christ as THE MIGHTY GOD of Psalms 50:1 who comes in the glory and power of Almighty God.

Yet there is abundance of evidence in the Old Testament of the deity of Christ as well as his first and second coming. King David wrote: "The LORD said unto my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool." Psalm 110:1 When we study the Jewish writers of the New and Old Testaments in the Bible, we discover David speaking as a Prophet of the Lord Jesus Christ sitting down at the right hand of God the Father in heaven after the ascension.

The Master made this clear to the religious leaders of the Jews in his first coming, but they were in rebellion against God, having degenerated into a politically correct religion closed to spiritual mindedness: Out of fear of being forbidden to go up to the temple the Jewish people believed what their religious leaders told them to believe; and their religious leaders were jealously possessive of the Lord's flock. They held power and honour because of their hold over the people and were not open to the truth.

Jesus asked the Jewish religious leaders saying, "What do you think of Christ? whose Son is he?

They say unto him, The Son of David.

He said unto them, "How then does David in Spirit call him Lord, saying, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool."

If David then called him Lord, how is he his son?"

AND NO MAN WAS ABLE TO ANSWER HIM A WORD, NEITHER DARED ANY MAN FROM THAT DAY FORTH ASK HIM ANY MORE QUESTIONS. St. Matthew 22:42-45

Jesus Christ had introduced himself as the Lord of King David who would sit at the right hand of the throne of God in heaven as the Jewish religious leaders were not able to accept his leadership. Israel had degenerated from the powerfully glorious kingdom of David and Solomon to subjection under the ironclad Roman rule of the known world. Judaism had become a religion of rituals. The word of Jewish religious leaders was law, but they no longer had the Spirit of God in their mouth.

Had their eyes and ears been open, they would have easily recognized the Lord of glory comes in the flesh of man of the Son of Israel.

God has not rid himself of beloved former Wife forever as many of you Gentiles hope God would do to please you.

God Almighty is not in the business of pleasing mankind. He has made mankind for His Divine Self.

God provides light day and night and waters the earth, but he is not a man who lives like you live under his laws. God is above all there is. He is the beginning and the end of all things. God quickens all things.

When the Lord comes in glory and power in God, Israel's eyes will be opened.

"Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young." (Isaiah 40:10-11)

Isaiah the Prophet is speaking of Israel in his prophecy.

It is a fearful thing for Jews in Jerusalem when the Lord Jesus Christ touches his feet down on the Mount of Olives and splits it with a roaring earthquake all the way to Azal. They shall flee the city in fear of what he might do to them for their rebelliousness and sins but their faith in the Word of God shall save all Israel.

The Lord is gentle with them and they shall be led back with the encouragement their "slaughters and dispersions are over."

All Israel shall be gathered in Jerusalem from all over the world and all the nations shall see Israel blessed of God. For the LORD GOD keeps his promises.

Muslims worldwide like to say they believe in the Bible, but they change they hear. They like to say Mohammad is the final messenger. We see no such indication in all of the Word of God. What we do find is the Prophet Malichi telling us the Lord is the Messenger:

Malichi spoke for God when he wrote: "Behold, I will send my Messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts." Malichi 3:1

We are waiting for the temple to be rebuilt on the temple Mount in Jerusalem which will necessitate the tearing down of the Muslim Mosque of Omar. The Lord will not return until it is rebuilt and we are well into the seven year Tribulation. Then he will fulfill the prophecy of Malichi and will make himself the salvation of Israel.

When Jesus was born a holy man by the name of Simeon "came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him after the custom of the law, then took he him up in his arms and blessed God, and said, "Lord, now let your servant depart in peace, according to your Word: For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared before the face of all people; a light to enlighten the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel." St. Luke 2:27/32

Were the Jewish religious attentive to the truth, they would have known a Prophet had already confirmed Jesus was their Messiah at his blessing in the temple of God. Wicked King Herod was not asleep to it. He had hundreds of small children murdered in an attempt to do away with the Christ child.

Make no mistake about it. "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion (where the temple will be rebuilt) and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." Joel 2:32

Jewish people from all over the world will make final Aliyah when Christ returns in the glory and power of God. Then they will know he is THE MIGHTY GOD, and you will know "ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED."

Meanwhile, the Jewish people will remain obstinate as a nation concerning their Messiah, though the Old Testament Prophets clearly spoke of the Lord.

Even in the days of his prophecy ministry, Isaiah described Israel as having ears, but not to hear; and eyes, but not to see.

In one of his prophesies he wrote: "For unto us (Israel) a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

For the Jewish people to say worshiping Jesus Christ is idolatry, is outright denial of such prophesies. He is not the Almighty, for Jesus is in submission to the Father. But he is THE MIGHTY GOD. He is the second Person of the godhead. Our God is one God!

We are "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of THE GREAT GOD and our Saviour Jesus Christ;..." that Saint Paul, the Jewish Apostle to the Gentile nations spoke of in his holy letter to Titus. 2:13

How can the Jewish people continue to reject their own Messiah who is of their own flesh and blood while we have such a holy record of his deity from holy Jewish men like Saint Paul?

They are afraid. Their own parents will disown them if they bring the Spirit of Jesus in their home. But there is nothing to fear. When Jesus returns in the power and glory of God, those who are referred to by the Prophets as "outcasts" will receive special honour from the Lord of glory. Then their parents will receive them back graciously with admiration.

When the Lord conquers the earth, "HE SHALL SET UP AN ENSIGN FOR THE NATIONS, AND SHALL ASSEMBLE THE OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, AND GATHER TOGETHER THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH." Isaiah 12:12

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10

In another of his many prophecies, Isaiah the Prophet wrote: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 If you are Jewish, believe the sign. If Gentiles all over the world are able to believe Jesus fulfilled this prophecy when he was born of the virgin Mary, then why can't you call upon the name of the Lord and be saved?

You will become an "OUTCAST OF ISRAEL." Jewish people everywhere will reject you for your faith in Messiah. But your Jewish heritage cannot be taken away from you by Jews or Gentiles.

God is not calling you to become snared in the corruption of the Gentile churches or Jewish legalism. He is calling you to serve him according to the Spirit of the written Word of God which is in perfect harmony in the Old and New Testaments.

In the gospel of Saint Matthew, the Jewish holy man tells us the interpretation of Emmanuel is "God with us." Many in Israel knew God was with them when Jesus walked among them working miracles and teaching multitudes of Israelites. St. Matthew 1:23

All of the writers of holy Scripture are Jewish except for King Nebuchadnezzer's letter of testimony which is included with Daniel the Prophet's writings.

The Jewish Prophet John who saw visions of the end of the world after being caught up through an open door in heaven, tells us of the gathering of the armies of the wicked nations to fight against the Lord of glory:

"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful." Revelation 17:14

Had Christ just been a Prophet, Israel would have probably found a way to kill him. They have a history of persecuting their holy men. But Jesus came as their promised Messiah, aka Christ. When he let the religious leaders get their hands on him, they put him to trial immediately without waiting for the people to voice their hearts.

But Jesus held his peace at his trial, if it be just to call it a trial. "And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God."

Jesus said unto him, "You said it: Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, "He has spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. What do you think? They answered and said, "He is guilty of death."

Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, St. Matthew 26:63-67

It is this opposition against the deity of Christ at the mockery of a trial the religious leaders of Israel rushed him through, that has come down in the tradition of Jews everywhere as though it were a just verdict.

It was not the verdict of holy and just men, but of religious wolves who loved the uppermost seats in the synagogues and the praise of the people in the marketplaces. Religious leaders who accused Jesus of violating Sabbath law when he healed a Jewish man on Saturday.

Had they been concerned for their own people, they would have searched the Scriptures and would have known beyond any doubt that Jesus was the fulfillment of many prophecies.

When Saint Peter healed the crippled man at the Gate Beautiful, a large crowd of Jewish men gathered and he told them, "You denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; and killed the Prince of Life, whom God has raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses." (Acts 3:14/15)

The holy Prophet and Apostle Peter will be a witness against Israel upon the return of Christ gloriously to conquer the earth, Resurrect the people of God and establish his global Kingdom. Then Christ will no longer be a tourist attraction despised by the Israeli's but the Lord of glory will become their greatest treasure.

27 And he said unto him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince have you power with God and with men, and have prevailed.
