Embezzlers are thieves.

Saint Ed

Charles Osamor, a Nigerian educated in the United States and a failure at three small business attempts, made a contact with an armored truck agent who managed to take large checks out of money bags they were entrusted to deliver, without being seen and turn them over to his accessory who managed to cash them at the bank.

The team managed to launder over five million dollars in stolen checks before Charles Osamor was finally caught. He did not turn in his accessory nor did he ever admit to his guilt but with the wealth gained is able to continue his fight for release from prison with appeals.

Once a stolen corporate check was in Osamor's possession, he opened a false post office box in the name of the recipient of the check.

To do this Osamor apparently obtained sufficient identity to prove he was the man.

The application for the post office box was notorized by a notary public stamp Osamor was able to purchase at any stamp maker without proving he was a notary.

Likewise, Osamor opened a bank account with counterfeited information showing himself to be the recipient, and the owner of the company named on the check he was depositing.

As soon as the check cleared, he would try to move the money out of the country.

This time he was caught on surveillance opening the post office box and his fingerprints matched those on the cashed check, so he didn't think of everything.

He was sentenced to thirteen years in jail.

"HE THAT LOVES SILVER SHALL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH SILVER; NOR HE THAT LOVES ABUNDANCE WITH INCREASE:" (Ecclesiastes 5:10) And so it is time and time again, masterful thieves store up mountains of wealth and cannot stop their illegal activities. They are so greedy they cannot get rich enough and ultimately they are caught.
