THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND:

COMMENTS

"THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND." (St. Matthew l0:7) Jesus told the disciples to go preach, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is at hand." They were filled with the Spirit of Christ. His hand was in their hands. so the kingdom of heaven was at hand and their hands were empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons.
GOD "IS THE SWORD OF THE WICKED AND HE IS THE HAND OF MAN." (Psalm l7:l4) Psalm l7:l4 applies to all mankind. So the mystery of the hand of man encompasses all, but in the anointing; the Spirit led man will discern his arms and hands are empowered by the Lord.
"A wise man's heart is at his right hand." (Ecclesiastes l0:2) King Solomon was a Master of walking in the Spirit. And though he uses "GREAT PLAINNESS OF SPEECH," what he is saying is deep spiritually. The wise man in the anointing includes his right hand into all of the focus of his consciousness in Christ.

"He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms." (2 Samuel 22:35/37) David, the warrier King, went to war in the anointing of the Spirit and performed wonders from his youth up when he killed Goliath with one sling of a stone. The Spirit empowered his hands and showed David how to bend a bow of steel so it could be broken by his arms. There is power to be found in the anointing for war and for peace. The warriers were not always able to find the power in their hands. "The stout-hearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands." (Psalm 76:5) But Sampson had no problem finding his hands when it was time to war singlehandedly against the Philistines whom he destroyed again and again in the anointing.
"THE RIGHTEOUS ALSO SHALL HOLD ON HIS WAY, AND HE THAT HAS CLEAN HANDS SHALL BE STRONGER AND STRONGER."(Job l7:9) One of the mighties in David's day was Eleazar: He was among the three who withstood the entire Philistine army. "He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword:" (2 Samuel 23:l0) Eleazar's hand of flesh froze on the handle of his sword after the slaughter. He had held the sword with all his might so mightily in the Spirit of Christ supernaturally that it was necessary for others to help pry his hand free from his sword. But all of this might in the Spirit is not for war. In peace a man was preaching in public in the anointing with a Bible gripped in his hand with all his might and when he was done, he was barely able to pry his hand from the Book.
"ACCORDING TO YOUR NAME, O GOD, SO IS YOUR PRAISE UNTO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: YOUR RIGHT HAND IS FULL OF RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Psalms 48:l0) This will require a more careful study on your part if you wish to know more about the right hand of God in his servants in the anointing. There are instances in holy Scripture where we read of prophets stretching out their hand to work miracles, but there is also a need to know the name of the LORD which holy men would apparently call out at the same time. This mystery gets even more complex when a study of Aaron's almond wood rod is made.
"AND IT CAME TO PASS, WHEN MOSES HELD UP HIS HAND, THAT ISRAEL PREVAILED: AND WHEN HE LET DOWN HIS HAND, AMALEK PREVAILED." (Exodus l7:ll) Moses not only was the Lord's anointed, he had favor with God. We find Saint Paul's hands of special use to God also: "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied." (Acts l9:6) So we read in the prayer book of the Bible, "Let your hand be upon THE MAN OF YOUR RIGHT HAND, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself." (Psalm 80:l7)
"I WILL THEREFORE THAT MEN PRAY EVERYWHERE, LIFTING UP HOLY HANDS, WITHOUT WRATH AND DOUBTING." (l Timothy 2:7) It seems to be a little known fact that God would have his people lift up holy hands in their prayers. This we are to do without wrath toward anyone and without doubting the LORD to whom we are praying. What are holy hands? This would be difficult to define, but it is important that your hands have not been used for evil doing of any kind and that they be kept washed and clean. From those beginnings holy hands would be set apart unto God and not unto the love of money.
"LORD, why does your wrath wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?" (Exodus 32:ll) Too many people take the Bible figuratively. When Moses wrote that the LORD brought Israel forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand, (Exodus 14:16) he spoke from his experience with the power of the Spirit of the LORD in his hand. For those of you who have not studied to show yourselves approved of God to enter into Sainthood and walk in the Spirit while dying daily to self, these things will have to be believed by faith until you attain to them; meanwhile take the Bible literally from the A to Z. There is always a literal meaning to be found in every text.
