THE JOY OF THE LORD IS STRENGTH IN THE ANOINTING: |
COMMENTS |
"THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH" Nehemiah 8:10 | God provides his supernatural joy in the anointing. It is important to remain in it. The anointed David referred to God as his "exceeding joy." (Psalm 43:4) In his holy letter to the Romans 15:13, Saint Paul prayed "THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY." Saint Peter wrote "YOU REJOICE WITH JOY UNSPEAKABLE." 1 Peter 1:8) There is the need for a conscious effort in the anointing to maintain the countenance of joy, and this is not false once it is realized the joy of the Lord is made manifest. So Kind David wrote: 'THE KING SHALL JOY IN YOUR STRENGTH OF LORD." |
"BE GLAD IN THE LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: AND SHOUT FOR JOY, all you that are upright in heart." (Psalm 32:ll) | In Psalm 32:11 we find specific instructions for the righteous to be glad and rejoice and shout for joy. To the sinner this might sound like an invitation to a party spirit, but to the upright in heart it is an encouragment to consciously maintain the strength of the anointing. For the Lord to remain in temples of flesh in the Spirit, they must maintain his mindset and do the things he does. |
"IN YOUR PRESENCE IS FULLNESS OF JOY"(Psalm l6:ll) | "Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh shall rest in hope." (Psalm l6:9) The Lord provides the joy when he is manifest in his servants. The servant of the Lord is to maintain an attitude and Presence of joy for the Lord to dwell in him, and he in the Lord. |
"LET YOUR SAINTS SHOUT FOR JOY" (Psalm l32:9) | Saints attain to the stature of a Son of God by walking in the Son of God, and are no longer children of God. Job wrote of the Sons of God in the beginning before the flood, saying: "All the Sons of God shouted for joy." (Job 38:7) (Read Genesis 6:l) In the thousand year reign, the Saints shall shout aloud for joy. (Psalm l32:l6) They shall have good reason to rejoice in the anointing. For those who stored up treasures in the divine nature shall wear the jeweled nature of the Spirit. "AND THEY SHALL BE MINE, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY JEWELS; AND I WILL SPARE THEM, AS A MAN SPARES HIS OWN SON THAT SERVES HIM. THEN SHALL YOU RETURN AND DISCERN BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED, BETWEEN HIM THAT SERVES GOD AND HIM THAT SERVES HIM NOT." (Malichi 3:l7/l8) "Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart." (Psalm 32:ll) Here we find a clear picture of the Saints who were last in this lifetime, appointed as it were unto death; becoming first in the Judgment Seat of Christ while those Christians who served God in the flesh are not clothed in the jeweled treasures of the divine nature for they were "HIM THAT SERVES HIM NOT." |
