INCREASED STRENGTH IN THE ANOINTING: |
COMMENTS |
"THE MYSTERY WHICH HAS BEEN HID FROM AGES AND FROM GENERATIONS, BUT NOW IS MADE MANIFEST TO HIS SAINTS: TO WHOM GOD WOULD MAKE KNOWN WHAT IS THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF THIS MYSTERY AMONG THE GENTILES; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY: WHEREUNTO I ALSO LABOUR, STRIVING ACCORDING TO HIS WORKING, WHICH WORKS IN ME MIGHTILY." (Colossians l:25/29) | The anointing is such a great mystery, few Christians have even the vision of it which is freely offered on this website. God does not make known "THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF THIS MYSTERY AMONG THE GENTILES" to Christians until they "STUDY TO SHOW THEMSELVES APPROVED OF GOD." When the Christian is called to Sainthood, the mystery is made manifest to them as they experience the anointing. Saint Paul closes out Colossians 1?25/29 saying he also labors to enter into the anointing, "SRIVING ACCORDING TO HIS WORKING," which worked in him "MIGHTILY." Once an individual attains to the anointing, they will experience greater strength than they ever had before in their lives just as long as they are Christ like in all they think, say and do. |
"THE WAY OF THE LORD IS STRENGTH TO THE UPRIGHT." (Proverbs lO:29) | The way of the Lord provides the fullness of the anointing in the Spirit which becomes "STRENGTH TO THE UPRIGHT." Two are better than one we are told in holy Scripture. This certainly proves true in the anointing. Christ in someone called to be a Saint, strengthens them beyond their human strength so they find themselves walking in a mightier way than they ever walked before, speaking in a mightier way than they ever spoke before, singing in a mightier way than they ever sang before, reasoning in a mightier way than they ever reasoned before, and experiencing God in a mightier way than they ever experienced him before. |
"WITH HIM IS WISDOM AND STRENGTH." Job 12:13 | When those who are called to be Saints come to the place where they are able to enter into the Spirit of the Lord, they will find "WISDOM AND STRENGTH" in him. |
"I WILL GO IN THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD" Psalm 71:16 | What we read in Psalm 71:16 is a committment to go in the anointing of the Lord where God's strength can be made manifest in all he does that is godly. |
"THAT HE (THE LORD) WOULD GRANT YOU ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY, TO BE STRENGTHENED BY MIGHT BY HIS SPIRIT IN THE INNER MAN." Ephesians 3:14/16 | The strength the anointed obtain in the anointing is in "THE INNER MAN." But the consequence of being strengthened in "THE INNER MAN" produces results for that individual in the outer world. |
"...THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME." Philipians 4:13 | Those who walk in the anointing of the Spirit are able to do greater works than were possible for them in their natural man, and this they do "THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS" them. |
"THE SAME WAS MIGHTY IN ME" Galatians 2:8 | Once again we find Saint Paul referring to the strengthening inwardly. |
"I MIGHT SHOW MY POWER (DUNAMIS) IN YOU." Romans 9:17 | The Lord will show his power in those who are called to be Saints. |
