In this series of the laws of the Spirit which are principles you must adhere to to walk in the Anointing of Christ, and we will address knowledge you ought to understand to walk in the anointing of Christ.
"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY. GREAT
IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS."

THE NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST: |
COMMENTS |
"BUT NOW IN CHRIST JESUS YOU WHO SOMETIMES WERE AFAR OFF ARE MADE NEAR BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. FOR HE IS OUR PEACE, WHO HAS MADE BOTH ONE, AND HAS BROKEN DOWN THE MIDDLE WALL OF PARTITION BETWEEN US; HAVING ABOLISHED IN HIS FLESH THE ENMITY, EVEN THE LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; FOR TO MAKE IN HIMSELF OF TWO, ONE NEW MAN, SO MAKING PEACE; THAT HE MIGHT RECONCILE BOTH UNTO GOD IN ONE BODY BY THE CROSS, HAVING SLAIN THE ENMITY THEREBY:" (Ephesians 2:l3/l5) | MANY SAY THEY ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST WHEN ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS DISCARD A COUPLE OF THEIR VICES AND THOUGH THEY SEEM LIKE NEW CREATURES TO ALL WHO KNOW THEM, THEY ARE NOT NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST ACCORDING TO HOLY SCRIPTURE. IN Ephesians 2:13/15 Saint Paul makes a subtle reference to "THE BLOOD OF CHRIST" making it possible for some to draw near to God. This is a reference to holy Communion which so few Christians understand. The Scripture is so subtle as to also state that martyrdom is the means in the end by which the Saint is reconciled to God using their particular cross as a means to have "ENMITY" within themselves slain. This is all "THE GREAT MYSTERY OF GODLINESS." |
"THEREFORE, IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD ALL THINGS BECOME NEW."(2 Corinthains 5:l7) | "ALL THINGS BECOME NEW" in the anointing when those called to Sainthood enter into the anointing IN CHRIST. "ALL" means absolutely all, not just a few things in the Christian's life. IN CHRIST in this verse means in his Spirit. It ought not to be confused with the receiving of Christ as your Saviour nor should you presume to be full of the Spirit because of the baptism of the holy Ghost. Christians receive "THE INCORRUPTIBLE SEED" of the Spirit when they are baptized in the holy Ghost, and as you already know; there is a difference between seed and what is nourished from the seed in time. "STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED OF GOD" and seek the LORD to be called into Sainthood. It is of no use to promote yourself ahead of time. |
"I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME." (Galatians 2:20) | Saint Paul describes what it is like to enter into the Spirit in Galatians 2:20. He is alive, but the Life he lives is by the faith the Lord provides in the anointing. He lives yet it is not him who lives, but Christ lives in him. This is "THE GREAT MYSTERY OF GODLINESS" so many who are ignorant of the Scriptures falsely claim for themselves. |
"AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL COME UPON YOU, AND YOU SHALL PROPHESY WITH THEM, AND YOU SHALL BE TURNED INTO ANOTHER MAN." (l Samuel l0:6) | Samuel the Prophet anointed Saul of Tarsus King of Israel and told him "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL COME UPON YOU, AND YOU SHALL PROPESY WITH THEM (THE PROPHETS), AND YOU SHALL BE TURNED INTO ANOTHER MAN." This was to be the first time Saul entered into the Spirit of the anointing although he continued to do it for the next forty years until he died in battle. When the Spirit of the LORD comes upon you, you will know it. Too many Christians are claiming the anointing out of pride or because someone told them they were the Lord's anointed and they wanted to believe it. |
"MORTIFY THEREFORE YOUR MEMBERS WHICH ARE UPON THE EARTH;....LIE NOT TO ONE ANOTHER, SEEING YOU HAVE PUT OFF THE OLD MAN WITH HIS DEEDS; AND HAVE PUT ON THE NEW MAN, WHICH IS RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE AFTER THE IMAGE OF HIM." (Colossians 3:5&9/l0) | The Apostle is speaking to Saints. They have put off the old man with his deeds, but needed encouragement to mortify the members of their bodies. Each body part is referred to as a "member" in holy Scripture. "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles!" (St. James 3:6) Apparently there was lying among them. The Apostle is admonishing them to mortify their flesh altogether. Lying in the anointing will quench or grieve the Spirit. |
"THAT YOU PUT OFF CONCERNING THE FORMER CONVERSATION THE OLD MAN, WHICH IS CORRUPT ACCORDING TO THE DECEITFUL LUSTS; AND BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND; AND THAT YOU PUT ON THE NEW MAN, WHICH AFTER GOD IS CREATED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUE HOLINESS." (Ephesians 4:l5&2l/25) | The formerly corrupt conversation must go. The cool talk. The fashionable way of speaking. Jesting must go. Vain conversations must go. Flatteries must go. Lies must go. Deceitufl lusts must go. The new man of the anointing must speak the truth in love with purity of mind and heart. |
