In this study it is established by the Scriptures presented, that the Lord is righteousness in the anointing. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. We become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus when the Lord manifests his righteousness in us in the anointing.
"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY. GREAT
IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS."
  (1 Timothy 3:16)

"YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AS FILTHY RAGS." (Isaiah 64:6) | Many zealous believers have found success doing what they knew to do in the name of Christ, and are deceived by their visible success into thinking they are the Lord's anointed. They are looking upon the appearance of things. Those who are doing the Gospel in their own power are wearing filthy rags righteousness. They have not yet learned to die to self. They have not yet learned how to come into the fullness of Christ's divine Presence. They are not filled to overflowing literally in his Spirit. There self will is still active. |
"GOD WILL RENDER UNTO MAN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Job 3:26) | Job, the Holy man who is famous for overcoming an incredible test in which all was taken away from him except his wife; has much to say about the anointing in his Book. He is telling us of the literal nature of the righteousness of God. The Spirit of the anointing is righteousness. The work God does through a vessel suitable for the Master's use is righteousness. It is his Spirit doing the work. Man cannot do the righteousness of God without the fullness of his anointing. (2 Corinthians 5:21) |
"RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL GO BEFORE HIM; AND SHALL SET US IN THE WAY OF HIS STEPS." (Psalm 85:l3) | The Psalmist is telling us righteousness is the person of the Spirit of the Lord. One of the mysteries of walking in the Spirit, is that you also ought to learn to focus sufficiently to walk in his steps. This is the secret of empowerment. To walk perfectly in Christ is to dwell in his perfect will. The Spirit of righteousness goes before the living sacrifice in that the Lord moves first, and if the living sacrifice desires to remain in him; he does that which he sees the Father do and follows after his motions. This is the great mystery of godliness for those who are privaleged to enter in in this lifetime. In the Age to come, all the Church shall become skillful in the anointing of Jesus Christ. |
"BUT NOW THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WITHOUT THE LAW IS MANIFESTED, BEING WITNESSED BY THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS; EVEN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE:" (Romans 3:21/22) | The righteousness of God goes outside of the boundaries of the law. The word "without" in the subject verse is old English for "outside." The verse reads in modern English: "THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD OUTSIDE THE LAW..." The Pharisees pointed the finger of condemnation at Jesus working on the Sabbath. He went outside the law. Christ is Lord of the Sabbath law. (St. Luke 6:5) His Spirit in the anointing is Lord of the law. The righteousness of God fills the law to overflowing. God cannot be boxed in to the law. The prophets witnessed the righteousness of God in fulfilling the law, yet David, the Lord's anointed had no problem with eating bread only priests were permitted to eat. (St. Matthew l2:4) His need took precedence over the law. He went outside of the law in the righteousness of the Spirit. "If you are led of the Spirit, you are not under the law." (Galatians 5:l8) David was in an emergency. He was enabled to know if it was okay by the leading of the Spirit. The faith of Jesus Christ mentioned in the subject verse is perfected. God is not speaking about those whose faith is not perfected yet. The righteousness of God is UPON ALL THEM who believe perfectly in the faith of Jesus Christ. The Spirit of the anointing is literal. If you are walking around in your natural man, you are not yet in the literal anointing of the Spirit of righteousness in Christ Jesus. |
"THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Jeremiah 23:6 | The prophet is speaking of the Age to come when Israel shall not call the Lord by his name. For the name of the Lord is sacred and secret and is not to be tossed around loosely. The name they will use for the Lord is: "THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." They will all understand the anointing is the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. "The second man is the Lord from heaven." (l Corinthains l5:47) The anointing is not common knowledge now, but "keep judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed." (Isaiah 56:l) Isaiah the Prophet said the anointing will be revealed when Christ comes to manifest the fullness of salvation. |
